Turquoise

Whatever you call this shade , blue-green or green-blue, peacock, teal- it's showing up everywhere. According to me its the colour of the season. Everyone desires to look pretty. There are some colours that bring out your beauty and make you look completely different. Turquoise would not only enhance your beauty but would also be different from other common colours. The meaning of the colour turquoise is open communication and clarity of thought.

Perfect pairings

When you blend blue, green and a dash gray you get a shade with great range. It works beautifully with almost any other color. It offsets white and creams, complements burgundy, mustard and other autumnal tones, and looks chic with brights.
Who doesn't want versatility?? But versatile doesn't mean boring.
You can match your dress with multiple accessories . usually silver goes with every shade of turquoise. Do not overload yourself with so much jewelry. A simple pendant,  bracelet and ring would complete your look.

Choosing the right type of jewelry to complement your dress depends on the occasion you are attending. The appropriate jewelry needs to be selected accordingly. For instance, a special occasion such as a wedding would require different jewelry to a night out on the town. Remember the rule of thumb when it comes to jewelry – if you are going to make a statement with bold jewelry, choose one statement piece only – wear bright earrings OR necklace – never both together.

What shoes to pair with Turquoise dress?

Shoes are a vital part of any outfit and very often make a statement of their own, so it is important to choose your shoes carefully when putting together an outfit. Once again, choosing the correct shoe for an outfit would depend on the occasion – a day at the beach would call for a very different type of shoe than dinner at an expensive restaurant.

1. For formal occasion- Formal occasions call for a pair of beautiful shoes and whether you prefer wearing flats or heels, choosing correct style and color of the shoe is important. If you are wearing a dress in a light shade of turquoise, choose a soft color shoe, such as cream, pale gold or soft silver. Summer calls for open, strappy sandals or high heels while closed shoes or high heels are better in winter. Peep toe shoes are great for both summer and winter and look best in soft colors.

2. For informal occasion- A great pair of shoes can make a statement of their own and if you are wearing a turquoise dress to an informal occasion or simple day wear, then you can get away with wearing a slightly bolder color shoe. Stick with the cooler colors of blues, greens, purples and grays, rather than going for warmer colors such as reds, yellows and oranges as these will clash with the turquoise. Pair your dress with a darker pair of shoes to make a statement and attract attention to your feet or go for a lighter shade of shoe if you want the attention to be drawn to your dress

DIY. My Ankara outfit.. no sewing

This tutorial is quick and easy its not everybody who has a machine.
You will need:
1. a pair  of scissors (fabric scissors preferred)
2. Safety pins
3. A ruler or tape measure (if you like measuring things)
4. Fabric glue
5. Lastly the ankara fabric 2yards (2meters)

Step 1

1st cut out a small piece of fabric to use as a waistline or belt.

Step 2

Spread out your fabric
Create a pleat and use a safety to hold it together (fold& use pin to tuck)
Continue doing that until the that
The end result should look like this.

Or
If you don't need pins, simply fold the fabric over a belt or a rope, gather the fabric on the belt and tie around your waist. Then wear a bold belt over it instead of the cutout fabric.

 Step 3

That's it you are done!!
wrap it around your waist and pin it up.
Fold that piece of fabric and cover the pins on the waistline of your skirt. It will look like a a belt.
Easy right....

For the crop

top I actually didn't do much. You can see from the pictures.

SHOES

I used the remaining pieces from the fabric belt to design it and super glue..
